But the story is a rather unintersting murder mystery without even much of a mystery, as all the victims were more or less random anyway. The puzzles in this game are also of the unlogical kind, e.g. use a mouse trap to splice an electric wire together or you run into situation where you need a stick-like thing and have three in your invetory, but only one works. The game never manages to establish a proper flow and you end up either trial&error through the puzzles or using the hint system, it's just not much fun to play.. A decent hidden-object game but not great. Nice graphic, innovative game mechanics, over-complicated story and a lot of backtracking and pixel-hunting.However I can't recommend it. The game contains a game-breaking bug which sometimes irreversibly corrupts your save file. I have lost 4 hours of progress because of it and had to restart and finish the game in one sitting to see the ending. According to the discussions the bug has been known and reported for 5 years but has never been fixed. Unacceptable.. I'd like to give a neutral review, but since I have to chose I'll go with "yes".The story is interesting, though all the time-hopping is a bit confusing. The hidden object scenes were good and contained a twist; in some puzzles some of the words to find were just vague descriptions of the object. You can click on any word/description to get a silhouette showing the outline of the objects without expending a hint. The puzzles were pretty hard, and I actually skipped a couple of them. There's also the usual kinda of weird point-and-click logic where you need to use the exact right object in the right situation, even though you have in your inventory objects that would probably work as well. You can find "hint tokens" all over the place; pay one each time you need a hint. Which happened quite a lot for me. I blame being tired, because the game wasn't really that hard.. Was a decent game for 5-10 bucks.Makes for a great stocking stuffer for younger people, I found the puzzles a little bit too easy.Voice acting, graphics, and animations were average.Storyline was average as well, just overrall an average game, worth killing a few hours of time over, the puzzles felt pretty unique except a sudoko one. The hidden object scenes were cool, a good throw back to those kids magazines you find in the dentist office. =PAlso.....Angelica is one hell of a cleptomaniac....... I love hidden object games, and this one has extra puzzles to liven things up. There's also a murder mystery plot, and enough content to keep anyone entertained for hours. Recommended.
